Sirdab Raises $10 Million Series A to Scale the Logistics Infrastructure Layer for Saudi Arabia

Sirdab has raised $10 million in Series A funding, co-led by BECO Capital and Elm, to expand across Saudi Arabia and the GCC and further build out its logistics platform. We have backed the team since 2024 and remain impressed by their execution, traction, and vision.

In Gulf logistics, the focus has largely been on first and last mile, whereas middle-mile warehousing, the layer in between, has been overlooked, even as demand for it outstrips supply by 30-50% in Saudi Arabia. Closing that gap requires a verified network of providers, plus software, to manage capacity, compliance, and service levels through a single relationship. Since 2022, Sirdab has built this across Saudi Arabia.

  • Today, Sirdab’s platform supports more than 850 businesses, including major government entities and publicly listed companies, across dry, ambient, chilled, and frozen logistics.
  • Revenue has grown 20x since graduating Y Combinator’s Winter 2023 batch.
  • The company has reached profitability, a capital efficiency profile that stands out at this stage.
  • Its network spans 120+ warehouses and 60+ transportation providers, run asset-light and complemented by company-operated facilities in key hubs.
  • Its software lets providers standardize operations, share capacity, and manage billing and compliance, while giving businesses real-time visibility and control as they scale.

Our partnership with Sirdab

We co-led Sirdab’s seed round in 2024, after the team had spent years operating in the sector before identifying middle-mile warehousing as the layer of the value chain with the most room to build. The company’s hybrid model of owned and partner-operated facilities aligns closely with our Logistics thesis. We were impressed by the team’s execution, traction, and thoughtfulness around their vision. Today, Sirdab is on track to become the logistics infrastructure layer for Saudi Arabia.

About the round

Sirdab has now secured $10 million in Series A funding. The round was co-led by BECO Capital and new investor Elm, the PIF-backed digital solutions company. The funding will support Sirdab’s expansion across Saudi Arabia, growth of its provider network, and further development of its platform, including AI that matches businesses to capacity and automates coordination between shippers, warehouses, and carriers.
